When Nashville’s Premiere Arts venue was planning its blockbuster exhibit, “The Quest for Immortality: treasures of Ancient Egypt,” they knew they needed a greater online presence than just a calendar entry on their website (which we also built, by the way).

The opportunity: highlight the many visually interesting artifacts that would be on display; give donors a chance to “Sponsor” various individual relics; and find a way to engage folks with the exhibit outside of the venue environment.
What we did: First, we created a separate website for the exhibit, chocked full of historical info, plus maps, heiroglyph and a section for kids. The site features an interactive slideshow where folks, including potential sponsors could view the relics and get credit for sponsoring them. Next, for a viral twist, we added the Egypt eCards, which allow visitors to the site to email one of several Egypt styled ecards with the messages translated into heiroglyphs. Recipients received a key to decipher the cards and the ability to create and send their own.

The results: One of the most successful and well-attended exhibits in Frist History, including thousands of Egypt eCards delivered.
