Paramore|Redd Media Department’s Top 10 List of Resolutions For Creating Shiny Happy Faces in 2010

by in Media on Dec 31, 2009

For many, the end of the year is time to reflect upon the previous year’s personal and professional challenges and successes. It is also the chance for many to determine their desired goals and objectives for the upcoming year. For the Paramore|Redd Media Department, our introspective methods of madness are comparable.  So in true Letterman style, I have provided you with the Top 10 New Year’s Resolutions for Paramore|Redd’s effervescent group of online media mavens.

10. Execute more dynamic landing pages for Pay-Per-Click campaigns on behalf of our clients. Think landing page with copy customized to the search term, keyword ad and IP address – I can already hear the noise pollution from that raucous conversion party…

9. Convince clients to implement a re-activation email campaign to the “inactive” subscribers within their database. Inactive subscribers are those that have not opened an email from the client within the past year. The goal of this campaign is to provide the client with one last opportunity to engage the inactive subscriber and then, let them fly. If you build it (well), they will come (back).

8. Write more personal thank you notes to our clients. They deserve the personal attention and we get to use the pretty stationary we got for Christmas. Winners all around.

7.  Finish training for the Country Music Half Marathon.  We’ve totally knocked out the first leg of training for the popular local event.  Our goal for 2010 is adopted straight from the list of Paramore|Redd core values: Believing in strong finishes.

6. Perform more A/B testing of custom email creative for mobile devices in order to help our clients spread their message beyond online and traditional mediums, thus effectively reaching their customer base when they’re on the move.  Now say that three times fast.

5. Design more custom site display creative for our clients. We just hate to boast (most of the time) but check out what we’ve accomplished for other clients.

4. Implement more mobile campaigns on behalf of our clients. By assisting them in the full production and execution of a mobile opt-in CTA we can introduce our clients to a relatively new marketing solution while also helping them achieve their integrated marketing objectives.

3. Continue to center our campaign reporting objectives around the simple goal of providing clients with useful information they can understand and utilize for campaign optimizations. ‘Cuz just giving data, just won’t do.
2. Dedicate ourselves to staying abreast of trends in Social Networking and Search-Engine-Optimization – even as industry news articles with new information are being published every 15 seconds.

And number one on the Paramore|Redd Media Team’s list for creating shiny happy faces in 2010 …

Full commitment to the “Weekday Lean Cuisine” rule. Even when the deliciously evil temptations of some of Nashville’s newest grub spots Cantina Laredo, Whiskey Kitchen and Urban Flatts are within walking distance (and Jimmy Johns will deliver in lightning speed) to the building where we make all the media magic happen.

Ok, so resolution #1 may be a pipedream, but we tend to shoot for the sky around here. With that said, lock your media campaign in with us in 2010 and we’ll get you skyrocketing results that will make your New Year’s Eve fireworks display seem like smoldering embers.
