I’m a Working Woman

by in General on May 15, 2009

It has taken me 16 years of schooling to get here, but here I am. A college graduate, working with the best online marketing agency, Paramore|Redd Online Marketing.

The past eight months have been extremely helpful in preparing me for the “real world.“ In school, students are forced to read and memorize so much information in such a short time period, that it hardly ever sticks. By interning in the field I wanted to work in, I have gained so much knowledge of how business really works. I have learned online marketing jargon, what “office life” is really like, that no one is happy if the client isn’t happy, that it’s really cool to have an office dog and that I love my job.

My parents have been extremely supportive throughout my college experience and have pushed me to be my best. A couple of weeks ago, I called my dad and told him I had an official job offer (thanks, Hannah!). That night, I was welcomed home to a spreadsheet full of numbers and words, aka, a budget. Aren’t my parents lovely? They are so proud to have me off of their pay roll and on someone else’s!

So, in short, thank you to my parents and all of the employees of Paramore|Redd for helping me learn and succeed!
